Meta Knight is very cool!
Brodik for Turnip for helping me! I don’t know how to draw muscles coughs
Thank you so much *u*
Yeeeeeeee oh man, thank you, Zhlei! I dig the way you’ve drawn him. C: And lookit that lil’ grin, you can tell he’s up to no good.
Aw, thanks! :> I believe someone asked before, but I must have deleted the post…whoops. Anyway, I never learned the exact brand of stoneware clay we used in class, I only know that it was a cone 5-6 clay, waterproof once fired twice. Not sure how helpful that is, sorry! :’0 If you were looking for the specific brand, I could try contacting the class instructor (I’ve always been curious to know, too…)
None of the ceramics works I’ve made, from smaller candy jars to teapots to the larger gyroid, are particularly heavy! Easy to lift with two hands even when filled. Carefully watching the clay thickness keeps them light; I usually kept it at just over 1/4 inch. The fact that the clay would shrink ~15-20% when fired also helps (but makes it crucial that you don’t go below 1/4”, or else the clay will crack). These factors might vary depending on the clay brand, though, esp. the shrinkage. Hope this answers your questions!
(Lovely blog, by the way; that interactive Jirachi is adorable! ; ;)
Request for turniiip.
It’s a Rider!! And a fantastic one, at that. Thanks a bunch, Arch!
Ceramic Katamari, with the dashing Prince sitting on top. I think it’s about time I shared this one. And look, it’s full of candy!
why yes I always leave candy jars out in the garden
Ah, it’s cousin Nutsuo! Tragically, his arms are so short, he can’t enjoy his favorite food. Oh well, he’s allergic, anyway.
Happy Birthday Turnip!
This is absolutely adorable..! I just love how you’ve drawn them :’> And the cake and the turnip balloon yeeee
Thank you so much, Turbo!! ;__; <3
